About Precision Dance...

Precision Dance offers classes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary and Acrodance.

Competition & stage work is also available upon request or invitation.

At Precision Dance we teach strong technique in a safe and nurturing environment while having fun in the process.
Aimee is a qualified teacher and has done extensive training on working with young, growing bodies to ensure safe dance training at all times. We have a purpose built dance studio in Greerton, Tauranga where most of our dance classes are held.

We are passionate about dancing and working with children and their families to create and grow awesome children together!

We work hard, have fun and persevere until we reach our goals and do our best to create our idea of PERFECTION!

Our classes are small, therefore we know every child individually which means we can cater to their needs and their different learning styles easily. We like to have a good relationship with each child and we encourage individuality and personality!

Students choose to sit exams – They are not compulsory!

Come and join our awesome bunch of students, we love spending time together, dancing together and making new friends and memories!

We have a purpose built studio in Gate Pa where the majority of our classes are held. Other classes are held in the St John's Anglican Church Hall (Waihi) and the Waihi Scout Hall.

Our awesome teachers are well equipped with experience in working with children and teaching dance.

Aimee (the director and main teacher) has trained extensively in classical ballet, modern jazz, tap, contemporary and musical theatre.
She has been teaching for many years in Tauranga, Mount Maunganui and Thames. She is also an internationally qualified Total Barre instructor and encourages her dancers to take pilates and barre classes for added strength and flexibility!
Aimee has been involved in a lot of musical theatre and performance work over the years and has experience teaching competition choreography and stage work.
When Aimee finished school she was offered a scholarship to train full time in Melbourne but turned the offer down in favour of teaching and teacher training, this is her passion and she wants to pass on her love of dance and the arts to anyone she can!

She is involved in many community arts events and loves to help out wherever she can within the arts world, especially if it involves children and youth. Aimee has choreographed two youth musicals for Tauranga Musical Theatre and is always willing to help with community dance and arts events.

Aimee loves to help the students in all areas of their lives, especially as they get older and are looking into career choices. She also has a diploma in child and adolescent psychology that is helpful in many ways when working with lots of different personalities!
